DONKEY'S SKIN BAN

Despite ban of donkey skin and meat trade in Kenya, the surge of number of donkeys being stolen has increased tremendously in Naivasha and some parts of south and North rift where donkeys are stolen and transported by road under cover darkness and slaughtered and sold to unsuspecting meat customers in Nairobi and some parts of Limuru.

Donkey rights has established that donkey skin is in high demand among local medicine men who used it as treatment for infertility and impotence cure for men and also when dried and  processed to powder women apply it on oily skin to make them smooth and dry.

We will be writing a petition to the local government to arrest and prosecute all donkey brokers and companies processing donkeys skin for profit,thus endangering donkeys in Kenya which is unacceptable and against animal rights.
